A strengthening exercise for the legs, gluteus, arms, lower back and abdominal muscles. Also, curling the back up and down to get into this position is a great way to open up the vertebrate and stretch out the lower back.
Arm abduction is a strengthening exercise for the arms. At the same time, the side bending movement of the torso stretches the back and abdominal muscles.

Class Titles and Descriptions
All sessions and classes are 55 minutes in length and are made by signing up for
an appointment.
Individualized Sessions:
Private Pilates Sessions –
Personalize your Pilates workout by taking a private Pilates session. Each
teacher gives one on one instruction to meet your specific workout needs.
Private Pilates sessions are for you if you are recovering from injury, desire
accelerated body strengthening and toning, or are preparing for a special
occasion, such as a wedding or class reunion. We recommend that beginners take
one or more private sessions to learn the exercises and equipment. Please see
our introductory offer of three (3) private Pilates session for new clients.
Semi-Private Sessions –
Share the fun with a friend or partner. As with private sessions, each person
is getting individualized Pilates instruction for their body.
Group Classes:
Reformer/Cadillac Class –
Target core muscles for strengthening and flexibility. Both beginner and advanced
clients benefit from weight baring springs which create longer leaner muscle mass.
Beginner clients benefit from the use of springs and pullies to assist the body’s
movement while focusing on the core muscles. Advanced clients can change spring
resistance and learn more difficult exercises to create a challenging workout. Start
at your own level and watch yourself advance.
Mat Class-
Mat classes engage every part of your body and use gravity, weights, Magic
circles, and other small props to strengthen your core and increase flexibility.
Although mat class is challenging, it can be practiced by beginners to advanced
with different modifications for each level.
Cardio Pilates Class- Pre Natal/Post Natal Class-
Denver's only Cardio Pilates class. Cardio Pilates is a high energy, low impact
way to get your total body workout. The class uses spring-boards and weights
to improve your cardiovascular condition, muscle tone, and flexibility. An
incredible workout to burn calories and build stamina. This class is faster paced
and challenging. The prerequisite for Cardio Pilates is intermediate level reformer
or mat classes.
Pilates is a great workout to help your body with the natural changes that occur
during all stages of your pregnancy. It can relieve pain in the back,
shoulders, hips, and legs. Pilates can also strengthen your abdominal and
pelvic floor muscles to prepare your body for labor. After your child is born,
Pilates is a wonderful tool to stabilize your hips and to regain your core
strength.
